How to import files from local storage, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Box into the CloudFiles content library?

In this article we discuss how you can make Google Drive, OneDrive, Box or Dropbox files secure & trackable by syncing them directly with CloudFiles' content library

CloudFiles allows you to import your files from a variety of sources. This includes uploading files from your local computer or connecting and syncing content from an external cloud storage such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Box. E.g. you can easily mirror your google drive storage into the CloudFiles content library and share files with secure and trackable links.

The GIF below shows how to connect Google Drive storage. To read about other options in detail, refer to the steps below.

Uploading from local storage

You can upload any file that is stored on your local computer using the "Local" option in CloudFiles upload dialog box. You can either drag and drop your files into the dialog or click on the upload area to select files using the file explorer. Once you select a file from your local storage, it will take a few moments to upload it to CloudFiles. When the upload is finished, CloudFiles will automatically open the file screen where you can start creating secure & trackable links.
